The problem
A landing page or static site needs a contact form, but running a server just for that is extra work and extra upkeep.
Existing form services usually charge a monthly fee, even in a month when the form received nothing at all.
The solution
A developer creates a form in the dashboard and gets an address. It goes into the action attribute, and that’s it: no server, no SDK, no build step. Submissions are stored in the dashboard and can be forwarded to a webhook.
Instead of plans there is a balance, charged only for the submissions received. Unused balance doesn’t expire at the end of the month.
Set up in three steps
- Create a form in the dashboardAfter signing up, the service gives you a unique address for the form.
- Paste the address into actionA plain HTML form, or a fetch call from any framework.
- Receive submissionsEach submission appears in the dashboard and goes to your webhook, if one is set up.
<form action="https://formpost.org/f/3QQPFnq8"
method="POST">
<input type="email" name="email" />
<textarea name="message"></textarea>
<button>Send</button>
</form>
Features
-
Any stack
HTML, React, Vue, Next.js, Astro, Hugo, Jekyll, WordPress — anything that can send an HTTP request.
-
CORS and JSON
Requests from any domain. Responses and errors come back as JSON, so developers render their own form states.
-
Confirmation page
For a plain form without JavaScript, a thank-you page with a link back to the site.
-
Webhooks
Every submission is forwarded to the client’s service, with a Bearer token if needed.
-
Bot filter
Bots and requests without a user agent are rejected before they are stored, so nobody pays for spam. Field values are sanitised.
-
Dashboard
Every submission, a daily chart, forms, webhooks and balance. Available in English and Ukrainian.
Business model
No plans and no monthly fee. Users top up a balance of at least $5, and it is spent as submissions arrive.
